ENTHUSIASM & ENGAGEMENT AT THE ENDOSCOPY EVENT
/Enthusiasm! Engagement! Excitement?
A massive thank you to all the staff who attended the endoscopy engagement event on the afternoon of the 24th of August. We have received lots of very positive feedback which particularly noted the high levels of enthusiasm and engagement (bordering on excitement) from all staff towards the Quality Improvement work.
All the enthusiasm in the venue was channeled into exploring the problems, creating change ideas and discussing possible solutions. These ideas were themed by the excellent facilitators.
There were many areas where staff thought that they could focus their interest in quality improvement. The endoscopy Quality Improvement project group will look at all the ideas that have come from the event and we will share these with you in the coming weeks.
ACADEMY TRAINING CAPACITY INCREASED
/To date we have trained 308 staff members in the Quality Academy. Due to high demand, we have now increased the number of participants per cohort and number of courses we run. By the end of September we will have started up 3 more courses with approximately 110 people attending. We plan to open up more course dates later in the Autumn, if you would like to be included please contact Academy Manager Olivia Doherty
ENDOSCOPY ENGAGEMENT EVENT

The service will present the plan for the service and data that will illustrate the current standing of the service. We look forward to participants contributing and thinking about their own context within the service and we are excited about generating new ideas that will enhance patient experience, staff experience and operational effectiveness.
