Allied Health Professions Leadership Programme
We are in the process of developing a new interprofessional leadership programme with colleagues from other professions and when this is launched we will advertise it widely. Until then, if you would like to access leadership resources, please see this poster with suggestions.
Delivering Leadership Excellence
Our NHS Lothian Allied Health Professions leadership programme, Delivering Leadership Excellence (AHP DLE) launched in 2011 and ran until 2020.
The aim of AHP DLE was to empower Senior AHPs to develop leadership skills, values and behaviours’ within the context of their practice, the organisational climate and policy agenda to enable them to support their teams through the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment and deliver safe, effective and efficient care.
The programme was co-ordinated by the AHP Practice Education Leads, Claire Ross and Ailidh Hunter and is co-facilitated by experts from within NHS Lothian and our Health and Social care partners, NHS Education for Scotland and third sector colleagues.
