Orthopaedics Programme - Neck of Femur Fracture
Over 6000 patients are admitted to hospital in Scotland with a Neck of Femur fracture. A broken hip is the most common, serious orthopaedic injury to affect the elderly. It is therefore essential that we manage this injury as effectively and efficiently as possible, primarily for the benefit of the patients and for the optimum use of NHS resources.
