NEW Primary Care QI Toolkits

The Primary Care QI team have recently launched three new toolkits to support quality improvement in primary care settings. 

These toolkits provide a QI perspective for practices to understand their own context to identify opportunities for improvement. They provide an overview of a broad variety of QI tools and bring together many pre-existing relevant national resources and guidelines into one document for ease of use. The toolkits have been generated using the experience and learning from Lothian teams who have undertaken improvement work to share and spread tested effective approaches in these areas. 

The new toolkits focus on the following:

• Introduction and expansion of NHS Near Me video consulting

• Improving access and managing demand

• Care Home ACPs and MDTs
