The Primary Care Network

NHS Lothian has an established Primary Care QI Network which supports teams to improve clinical outcomes and experience for patients and staff, by building capability and leadership. This contributes to Lothian’s transformational plan and Quality Strategy

Lothian’s Primary Care QI Network 3-year plan sets out ongoing commitment to the sustainable development of a strong culture of quality improvement, including support of the CQL role. We are aiming to consistently and comprehensively enhance the delivery of QI knowledge and support to CQLs, to empower intrinsic, evidence-based and data-driven improvement and quality control, and optimise extrinsic collaborative participation in local Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCP) planning.
