QI & Safety Enhanced Service 24/25 Launch Workshops

The Launch Workshops are the first events of the 24-25 QI & Safety Enhanced Service . We have listened to feedback from previous participants who felt some of the content of the Launch Workshops was repetitive for those who have been involved in the Enhanced Service for a number of years, and are pleased to offer two workshop options this year:
Option 1: Face-to-face Launch Workshop – this will run from 2pm-4.30pm (registration 1.30pm) in the Arthur’s Seat room, Postgraduate Education Centre, RIE, Little France on:

If you are new to quality improvement and/or the Quality Improvement and Safety Enhanced Service, we strongly encourage you to attend this face-to-face Workshop. We will have limited places available due to venue restrictions, so please book early to secure your place. We will talk through some of the QI tools you will need at the start of your project and give you a chance to practice using them, with support from the QI team.
Option 2: Virtual Launch Workshops – these will run from 2pm-4pm and be held on Microsoft Teams on:
Tuesday 4th June
Thursday 13th June
Wednesday 19th June
Each workshop will include a reminder of contract requirements and deadlines, and the opportunity to talk to your peers about their QI project ideas and plans.
The QI & Safety Enhanced Service contract stipulates that two people (one of whom must be a GP) from each practice must attend a Launch Workshop. It is up to teams whether these two people attend the same or different workshops.
