The Primary Care Quality Improvement Enhanced Service evolved from the Scottish Patient Safety Programme (SPSP). This offering provides support to allow individual practices to carry out Quality Improvement work through the Scottish Enhanced Service Programme (SESP). This Enhanced Service is now in its eight year with 103 practices taking part in 2025-26.
