The Quality Improvement Skills course is aimed at staff who can lead small-scale, focused tests of change with support of a team in a clinical service area.  This is a hands-on programme to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to lead, plan and deliver local improvement projects.

As part of the course, alongside attending all 3 days of the face-to-face learning sessions, each participant must complete and report on an improvement project during session 4.  Participants are asked to complete pre-course assignments and reading throughout to aid their learning and are encouraged to utilise the QI tools and methodologies taught into their own project.
